So here are some picts of our little shooting outing the other day. it was a ton of fun, but a pain to find a good spot. all our old spots are now covered with houses. anyways, when we got out there we shot a few targets and pumpkins and then tried to blow up the big pumpkin. i cant wait to go do it again! =]

the last week or so has been rough. i kept wondering what God what he was trying to teach me and it wasn't til today when i stopped everything to listen to him that he spoke to my heart. when i read Psalm 23 today, i got a small picture of what life is all about, why we go through hard times, and what our role in this world is.

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

this passage really said it all for me. u see some times we get so caught up in our life that we don't stop and give God the glory he deserves. in verse 2 it says [He makes me lie down in green pastures]. some times God just has to bring us bake to Him and make us lie down and reflect. i think this reflecting time is when God really talks to us and fill us up again" like He did for me today".

so thats just something that God has shown me in the last few days and i hope that you dont get too caught up with life that you miss the big picture. so take some time to reflect on what God is teaching you. =)

!!! Samoa !!!

Well next Friday (June 20th) i leave on a two month trip to Samoa, i am so excited! I am going with an organization called teen missions located in Orlando Florida. first i will fly to Orlando, there i will be trained and prepped for two weeks for the mission i will be going on along with the other teens. after What they call The Lords Boot Camp i will fly to LA and from there i will get on a 20 hour flight to the island of Upolu located in the Samoan Islands. once we get there we will drive to the camp sight, unpack and get to work. there we will be building a (felle tella) which i have been told is similar to a open sided meeting house for a local church. We will also be working with the local kids by putting on a V.B.S. After about a month in Samoa we will then fly to New Zealand to meet with another teem for a week. And finally we will take one more trip to Northern Australia to meet once more with a local team there. Then i will get on a flight to LA, and then return back home (August 14th) "good old Phoenix Arizona!!!"

I am so excited and i know that God is going to use me in great ways. I do ask that you pray for safety for me and the group i am going with. Also please pray for the people we will be showing Gods enduring love too, that there ears will listen and there hearts will be open the the word of one and only God.

My Prayer

"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, that your ways may be known upon earth, your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy; for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him."
