Mexico Trip

Well last weekend I took a trip down to Mexico with my church. It was loads of fun and we got a lot accomplished. The ride up was a lot longer than the way back but the wait was well worth it. as soon as we got there we went to work. First we loaded and sorted (by age and gender) over 1,200 gifts and loaded them into different trucks, than we got cooking. we had to prepare enough food to feed 1,500 people in only a day in a half. We made spaghetti all night and all day, which was a long and tiring task. After all the food was prepared and the presents were all sorted by age and gender we went around and told everyone we saw in the pore rock point neighborhood about what was planned latter in the day. Somehow over 2,000 people showed up and it was a crazy, fun filled, mad house. Wile we were busy feeding everyone and giving gifts out we had Spanish speaking pastors going around telling the great news of how Jesus came and payed for the sins they committed by shedding his holy and perfect blood. many came to know the lord and it was well worth the all the hard work. I had a ton of and cant wait until next month when I get to go back and build a house and distribute food!

I'm sure you know how proud we all are of you and your hard work. You certainly had a huge job to do, and did it. Looking forward to you helping me do yardwork over the holiday.
